Dr. Erica Andrews is the Director of Assessment at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Drawing upon over 20 years of professional experience in higher education administration, Dr. Andrews leads the University’s assessment efforts in the development, integration, and maintenance of student learning outcomes to ensure continuous improvement. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to improving postsecondary access, retention, and success for students. Prior to her current position, she served as Assistant Dean for Advising and Assessment in the College of Arts and Architecture, leading the college’s assessment initiatives.
Dr. Andrews was recognized as an Achieving the Dream Fellow and a Belk Center Fellow and served as a research affiliate of the Belk Center for Community College Leadership and Research. Her research is focused on faculty perception of student success data.
Dr. Andrews holds an Ed.D. in adult and community college education from North Carolina State University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degrees in social work and higher education administration from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor.
