Assessment Plans:

• Student learning outcomes are assessed every semester.

Instruments/Artifacts:

• Papers, essays, oral presentations, and rubrics

Acceptable Target:

• 80% of students assessed will meet or exceed target

Use of Learning Evidence:

1. Implemented bi-weekly essays with emphasis on content development, coherence, as well as textual and stylistic accuracy.
2. Written communication and critical thinking assignments in targeted courses.
3. Monthly roundtable to discuss pedagogical concerns and how to become more effective.
